Agoura Road Temporarily Reopens as Caltrans Advances Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing

Caltrans announces that Agoura Road has reopened to traffic as construction continues on the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing over U.S. 101, a groundbreaking project in California designed to provide safe passage for wildlife while improving safety for motorists. Traffic control measures remain in place, including one-lane, reverse-traffic operations as needed.

Agoura Road remains an active construction zone and is open for now, pending further construction needs. As work progresses, full closures may be required to safely complete construction. Caltrans will provide advance notice to the community once closure schedules are confirmed.

Caltrans reminds drivers to be “Work Zone Alert” and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
